Our speaker is Joshua Adams, Head Honcho of Rock Paper Simple.
Joshua started programming at 11 years old and began his freelance web career at 14. His entrepreneurial spirit and years of experience (serving over 750 clients) have led him to become an expert in the fields of web development, digital marketing, and branding. After years of dedicated learning and experience, Joshua founded Rock Paper Simple in 2013 with the mission of empowering businesses who are awesome at what they do by developing their brand and digital presence.
His leadership of the Rock Paper Simple team has helped companies both large and small build marketing-focused websites, expand their digital presence, refine their brand, and turn leads into sales. His personal success has made Joshua an indispensable resource to the success of companies such as Health First, Satcom Direct, Long Doggers, Space Coast Daily, Pizza Gallery & Grill, Brevard Health Alliance, Craig Technologies, Adventure HQ and Sorensen Moving and Storage.
Joshua’s hard work and impact in the community has been recognized by LEAD Brevard who selected him as a winner in the distinguished “4 under 40” award in 2019. Under his leadership, Rock Paper Simple has also proudly racked up Addy awards every year since its founding including 23 total Addy awards, 3 Judges Choice and a Best of Show (2018). Other awards include semifinalist for Bright House Networks Regional Business Awards (2016), the Business Acceleration Award (2017) and the twice-earned Cocoa Beach Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year award (2011 and 2018).
Joshua serves on the board of directors for Founders Forum as board chair, an organization dedicated to the success of entrepreneurs in Brevard County. He also sits on the board of Brevard Rescue Mission (breaking the cycle of homelessness) and sits as vice-chair of the Space Coast Early Intervention Center (an inclusion school) board. Furthermore, he has had the pleasure of sharing from his personal experience and expertise in marketing and entrepreneurship as a guest speaker at the University of Central Florida, Eastern Florida State College, Florida Institute of Technology and Brevard Public Schools

This presentation was originally given by our speakers at the University of Miami Heckerling Institute on Estate Planning in Orlando in January, 2019. Members of the Indian River Estate Planning Council and Central Florida Estate Planning Council will be joining us for this lecture.
Carole M. Bass is a partner in Moses & Singer's Trusts and Estates and Matrimonial and Family Law practice groups. Carole has over 20 years of experience helping individuals and families with their estate planning needs. In addition, she works closely with clients on estate administration and represents individual and corporate fiduciaries and estate beneficiaries in Surrogate's Court proceedings.
Carole's experience also includes preparing and negotiating prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, representing blended families with estate related issues and assisting clients in estate matters relating to divorce. In addition, Carole is nationally known for advising clients on cutting-edge estate planning and estate administration issues involving the use of assisted reproductive technology (ART).
Carole is a peer-elected Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC) and frequently lectures on topics relating to estate planning and divorce, premarital agreements and assisted reproductive technology. She has presented to national and local professional organizations, including the Heckerling Institute on Estate Planning, the American Bar Association (Real Property Trusts and Estates Section and Family Law Section), the American Academy of Assisted Reproductive Technology Attorneys (AAARTA), the New York State Society of CPAs, and the New York City Estate Planning Council. Carole's articles have appeared in publications such as Trusts & Estates Magazine, Estate Planning Magazine and the New York Law Journal and she has been quoted in national publications, including the Wall Street Journal and Forbes.
Carole currently serves as Vice-Chair of the ABA RPTE Section's Continuing Legal Education (CLE) standing committee and as a Co-Chair of the RPTE Non-Tax Issues Affecting the Planning and Administration of Estates group.
Carole represents clients in a wide range of industries and professions and has a particular interest in working with professional athletes. Her article "Don't Drop The Ball - Estate Planning for Professional Athletes" appeared in the Summer 2017 edition of the ABA Entertainment and Sports Law Journal.
Rated AV Preeminent® in her field by Martindale-Hubbell®, Carole is part of a select group of attorneys recognized for their legal abilities and professional ethical standards. She was named as a New York Metro Super Lawyer in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018.
Cara Koss focuses her practice on advising high net worth individuals, both domestically and internationally, on a wide range of sophisticated matters including estate planning, trust and estate administration, lifetime gifting, family office formation and counseling, business succession planning, and tax compliance. Ms. Koss specializes in structuring tax-efficient wealth transfer strategies for clients designed to preserve family wealth through the generations, protect assets from potential creditors and incorporate clients' philanthropic and other non-tax objectives. Ms. Koss also has expertise in the area of assisted reproductive technology and estate planning, as well as the US tax consequences of foreign trusts and estates and foreign account reporting compliance.
